Championship leader will run a Castrol Honda in round 2 of the AUS PRO MX!

MX2 points leader Kyle Webster will run the traditional red, white and green Castrol colours this weekend, at round 2 of the Australian PRO MX Championship in Canberra.

The red plate holder understands the significance of this partnership.

“Honda has had great success with Castrol in motorcycle racing for a very long time and I am proud to carry on that tradition with my Castrol CRF250R.” Webster said.

The championship winning Motocross, Supercross and Superbike Honda team made the strategic shift to world winning Castrol oils this season.

“Castrol’s global success is unmatched in motorsport and they have achieved local and international success with Honda so it was a no brainer partnership. Plus we believe in their product, that’s the key.” Team director Yarrive Konsky said.

The team’s commercial model will see different title partners on selected race bikes throughout the season, however Castrol is the team’s preferred oil partner, something Castrol’s Motorcycle Brand Manager, Duncan Hale, is excited about.

“Castrol is a proven product in MotoGP, Motocross and Supercross as well as in F1. The strategic alignment with the Factory Honda Racing Team in Australia is important to Castrol. It gives our range credibility, especially if Honda chooses to use it in their factory motorcycles.” said Hale.
