Team HRC Honda Australia has worked hard since round 4 of the Australian PRO MX Championship, testing many new components.

Dean Ferris returned from Gilman and spent the first few weeks recovering from an injury he sustained days prior, following his recovery he commenced a rigorous training and testing regime.

“My crash before Gilman was nasty, in fact I had two. I took a few weeks to fully recover and then the team and I worked on the bike, we tested some new components and we improved in many areas.  I got some solid training in and I feel we are in a good place going into round 5 this weekend.  I need to make up some points so this weekend is really important” said Ferris.

Wilson Todd also ventured down to Queensland to do some testing and riding with Dean.  Wilson was pleased with the changes and felt it was benefit riding with Dean.

“I don’t have too many people in Cairns to ride with, riding with Dean was good and I cant wait to race, there is a big break between rounds and it makes me hungry” said Wilson.

The teams sole MX3 rider, Cambell Williams is still nursing an injury and will do his best to maintain his points lead.

“My body isn’t 100% and I will do my best this weekend to maintain my points lead. It’s disappointing but I am going to give it all I have” said Cambell
