Terrafirma Equipment Sales are the naming rights sponsor of Honda’s Kirk Gibbs number 5 entry for 2021.

Heavy machinery specialist Terrafirma Equipment Sales have increased their support of Honda Racing’s factory team by taking naming rights to the number #5, Kirk Gibbs.

Terrafirma’s managing director Darren Assink is proud to expand support of the Factory Honda team, as round 1 of the new live telecasted Australian Motocross Championship approaches this coming weekend.

“We’ve had a great relationship with Yarrive and the factory Honda team and shared in the many successes achieved. We have supported the team since 2018 and certainly Chris Blose winning the Supercross Championship the following year was a highlight for us.” Assink said.

Assink’s love of motorcycles stems back to his days racing motocross and road bikes and has given him a great appreciation for the dedication it takes to get to the top.

“It’s a lifelong passion, I still ride and I’m a proud owner of the all new CBR1000RRR and CRF450R. We have worked with the team and Honda on many activations over our partnership and they have worked. Honda is the most reputable brand in motorcycling so this is a terrific fit for our company.” Assink added.

Kirk Gibbs has known Assink for many years and welcomes Terrafirma Equipment Sales as his naming sponsor.

“Darren isn’t just a sponsor who puts his name to teams and programs, he really embraces it. He has a supercross and motocross track on his property that we train on and he is always looking at ways that can help the team and riders be better. I feel lucky to have his company backing me,” said Gibbs.

Team director Yarrive Konsky is thankful for the increased support and echoes Gibbs’ remarks.

“Darren and I have worked closely together on many activations which have resulted in more sales and that’s integral to any partnership. He is engaged and involved in our program and I really respect that. We look forward to having Kirks Terrafirma Equipment Sales CRF450R out on the track this weekend.” Konsky said.
