Honda’s commitment to motocross in Australia for 2022 has been increased across all classes and events.

The 2022 RIDE RED program is supporting 15 riders across 4 classes and Team Coordinator Darren Price is hoping for some podium finishes this year.

“We have some amazing talent coming through.  Cambell Williams and Ty Kean will contest the MX3 class, and I believe they can score some podium finishes.  Maddy Brown has been working hard in the off season and she is aiming for a top 3 finish in the women’s championship.  All the riders have been working hard and we are looking forward to round 1 of the Australian Motocross Championship,” said Price

In addition to the RIDE RED program, Honda are supporting  many riders through their Race Red Dealer program and their junior development program under the management of Lee Hogan.  The 2022 range of CRF Motocross bikes have been well sought after and Honda appreciates the support they have received from racers across Australia.  Honda Australia’s brand manager Cameron Cuthill believes the success we are achieving is because of the development that has gone into the new range of CRF Motocross bikes.

“Internationally we are having great success with the new range of motocross bikes, Australia’s Jett Lawrence has shown what the new 250 is capable of and Tim Gajser is leading the World MX GP on the CRF450R. Honda has worked hard to build race winning bikes and consumers have recognised that” said Cuthill

Honda have also partnered with the Australian Motocross Championship.  Under the management of Motorcycling Australia, the 2022 Championship is receiving the best Television exposure it has received in over a decade.

“Off-road motorcycles sales continue to grow, the championship provides great exposure for racing, riding and our products and Motorcycling Australia have done a terrific job lifting the awareness of racing in Australia”, continued Cuthill

Honda is directly supporting riders in MX1, MX2, MX3, MXW and Junior classes and wishes them all success in the 2022 Australian Motocross Championship.

“Racing for Honda is very important, and we are proud to be involved with all of the riders and the championship.  We wish everyone success and safe racing” concluded Cuthill.
