We are Ready To Begin Australian Supercross Championship

Honda Australia are committed to the upcoming Australian Supercross Championship, with six riders competing across three classes. Boost Mobile Honda Riders Justin Brayton and Max Anstie are ready to defend their respective 450 and 250 championships.

Brayton is chasing his sixth straight victory and never underestimates his competition. “Mossy, Clouty, Tanti and my teammates Dean Wilson and Kyle Webster are real threats.” Brayton commented.

“I do not underestimate the competition and I have been working hard to be ready for this weekend. The team has done an amazing job getting ready for round one and I hope to reward them with a win in Adelaide.”

Anstie has had a tremendous season. Following his successful championship bid in Australia one year ago, he went on to finish third overall in 250SX East in Monster Energy Supercross and even won the prestigious East/West Showdown. Anstie is focused on winning his second Australian Championship and cannot wait for the gates to drop in Adelaide.

“The team and bike are perfect. Everyone is super professional and organized – I will be going all out in an effort to win this coming weekend,” said Anstie.

The fan favorite Dean Wilson returns on a Froth Boost Mobile Honda with one goal: Win. The arrival of his first child stopped him from competing in Australia’s domestic championship last year, but he is currently settled down under with his young family in tow and has his sights on gold.

“No one wants to lose, especially to their teammate. I am all in, here to win and will not leave anything on the track.  I have one goal when the gates drop,” said Wilson.

Australian Kyle Webster, the team’s third CRF450R rider, has been preparing under the radar and is excited to see where he is at against the international line-up.

“There are three riders in the 450 class who have won races in the United States – I want to be racing with them in the battle for first,” reaffirmed Webster.

Terrafirma Honda Racing rider Wilson Todd is focused on winning his second championship this year. The likeable Queensland native is seeking redemption, following a challenging time indoors in 2022.

“Motocross has been great the past two years, but I stuffed my chances in supercross with very small mistakes,” Todd reflected. “I want to turn that around this year – I want to beat my teammate and everyone else that lines up.”

The team has also worked closely with American Honda and their amateur team to support Parker Ross in the SX3 Australian Development class. Parker Ross is relatively new to supercross, and this is his first visit to Australia. Although he does not know how he will fare, he is excited to race overseas.

“I do not know what to expect,” he confirmed. “I will give it my all on my Polyflor Honda Racing CRF250R. I am excited to be in Australia and appreciate the opportunity to race in another country.”
