After an impressive first round where Factory Honda secured commendable results across all classes, their Victorian-based team has been diligently testing and racing in preparation for the upcoming round 2 this weekend. Their focus remains on delivering consistent performances, understanding its pivotal role in winning championships.

Team Director Yarrive Konsky emphasises the significance of consistency in championship pursuits. “We can’t afford to become complacent. While Round 1 was promising, there’s still a long season ahead, and consistency is key in every race,” states Konsky.

Leading the MX1 class is Boost Mobile Honda’s Kyle Webster, while Brodie Connolly, Polyflor Honda leads the MX2 class for Factory Honda. Both riders, along with their teammates, are committed to stringing together consistent races as they vie for championship titles. Webster remains grounded, acknowledging the tough competition and the need for unwavering consistency throughout the season. “I’m staying focused and not letting the success from round 1 get to me. We’re leaving no stone unturned to ensure we’re well-prepared. Consistency is paramount,” affirms Webster.

Wilson Todd, Terrafirma Honda  aims for his first overall podium of the season in the MX1 class, while Noah Ferguson, Boost Mobile Honda endeavors to minimise errors as he seeks his first overall victory. The team’s sole female racer, Charli Cannon, SCT Logistics Honda, who leads the Women’s Championship, will also be competing in the MX2 class against male competitors. Cannon views this as an opportunity to enhance her skills by racing against faster riders. “Competing against tougher rivals is the best way for me to elevate my performance,” she asserts.

Meanwhile, Charli’s brother, Jake, on board the Boost Mobile Honda is set to compete in the MX3 class. He aims to secure a top-five finish as he regains his form following a series of injuries from last year.

Round 2 of the Pro Motocross Championship is scheduled for April 7th in Horsham. For further details, visit www.auspromx.com.au.
