Honda Racing Australia’s 2025 Motocross Team!

Honda Racing Australia enters 2025 with the momentum of a historic 2024 season, securing six championships across Motocross and Supercross—including an unprecedented sweep of all four Australian Motocross Championships. While replicating that feat will be a challenge, the team is determined to chase this once again with a champion-stacked rider lineup.
MX1: Defending the Throne
Kyle Webster, 2x Australian Motocross Champion, will return aboard the Boost Mobile Honda to defend his title. The Western Australian is ready to take on the nation’s best and feels the bike and team are stronger than ever.
“We’ve already seen great success with the 2025 model—Honda went 1-2 in Supercross with Joey and Dean, and my recent hitouts have been solid. Last weekend in Wonthaggi, we made real progress with the bike,” said Webster.
Wilson Todd, a 4x 250 champion, is also set to race Round 1 despite enduring a tough 2024 season riddled with injuries. Though he remains hungry to prove himself, he knows patience and maturity will be key to his return.
“Last year was tough—two injuries kept me sidelined for over eight months. I appreciate the team sticking by me. I’ll be at Wonthaggi, but with less than three weeks on the bike, I’ll need to race myself back into fitness and speed,” said Todd.
MX2: Back for More
Brodie Connolly, the reigning Polyflor Honda MX2 Champion, is eager for the gates to drop. He recently dominated his first race of the year and feels stronger than ever.
“The team is great, training is going well, and I’ve got a new off-bike trainer who’s making a real difference. I feel much better prepared for this season,” said Connolly.
His teammate, Alex Larwood, is looking for redemption after a devastating leg injury at Round 1 last year.
“Breaking my leg last year—without even crashing—was tough. But the positives? When I returned, I was competitive. I won my first races in this class, took an overall win, and proved to myself I can get it done. I’m confident we’re in a good place,” said Larwood.
MX3: A New Star Rises
With Jake Cannon heading to Europe, Honda Racing Australia signed rising star Kayd Kingsford. Konsky believes in his potential, and Kingsford is eager to prove himself after finishing 4th in Supercross (winning the final two rounds) and 3rd in Motocross last year.
“I was pumped to get this opportunity. Honda’s MX3 program is proven—they won with Parker Ross and backed it up with Jake Cannon. Their MX2 success also gives me confidence that I’m on the best bike with a great team. I’m ready to chase this championship,” said Kingsford.
MXW: Staying on Top
Charli Cannon returns with the number 1 plate, determined to raise her level for both Australian and international competition.
“Last year, we were strong, but I had weaknesses to address. Fitness has been my main focus—I don’t just want to win in Australia, I want to be ready for any overseas opportunities,” said Cannon.
Preseason Progress
The team continues intensive testing this weekend in Appin, following a successful Victorian State Championship test race, where they dominated:
MX1 Winner – Kyle Webster
MX2 Winner & 3rd Place – Brodie Connolly & Alex Larwood
MX3 Winner – Kayd Kingsford
MXW Winner – Charli Cannon
More news on sponsors and team personnel will be announced in the coming weeks. Stay tuned—2025 is just getting started!
