Honda commits to Hattah
Muc-Off Honda Racing’s Emma Milesevic and Mark Grove are ready to take on the nation’s best in Mildura, Victoria, at one of Australia’s most tenacious desert events – the Hattah Desert Race.
Famous for its enduring 4-hour natural terrain course, Milesevic has hopes for the win against Australia’s top female riders, on board her CRF450R.
“This is one of my favourite races, I train hard for it because it’s basically a 4-hour motocross race on a 30 + minute loop. I am excited to be riding Honda’s CRF450R and my goal is to win the women’s class for Factory Muc-Off Honda,” said Milesevic.
Honda Australia supports several women across multiple disciplines of racing and are proud of their association with Milesevic.
“Emma is a great ambassador for Honda and women’s racing in Australia. She is extremely committed to her craft, as she competes in motocross, enduro and desert racing. We are proud of our association, and we believe in her talent. There are thousands of women riding and racing motorcycles in Australia and Emma has proven to be one of the best,” said Tony Hinton, General Manager of Sales, Honda Australia.
Mark Grove will also line up to compete in the 250 4-stroke class. Grove is no stranger to success in the desert having won Finke on a 250cc multiple times.
“I really enjoy endurance events and racing in the desert. There are some young competitors this year, but I will be going for it. My goal is to win the 250 class and finish inside the top 15 outright,” said Grove.
