Penrite Honda’s Kyle Webster and Emma Milesevic debuted in their first events of the year in two different disciplines and in two different countries.

Emma Milesevic raced rounds 1 and 2 of the Australian Off-Road Championship in Queensland, Australia. Emma in her debut ride for Penrite Honda finished 3rd and 2ndrespectively across the two rounds and now sits 2nd in points.

“It was a solid first hit out; I know what I need to work on.  Jess Gardiner is a great rider and she is pushing me to work harder.  As my dad says, you can’t win the championship in the first round but you can lose it, with that said I am happy with my base, the bike and our position in the championship.  I will now knuckle down and focus on round 3” said Milesevic.

Kyle Webster competed in round 2 of the New Zealand championship.  He dominated the two races he competed in and is confident his preseason training and testing is where it needs to be in preparation for the 2020 Australian Motocross Championship.

“My times were strong, I was measuring my speed against the 450 riders and I am happy with where I am at.  I will race round 3 this coming weekend and we will continue our testing this week.  I am really happy with where we are at.  There are 7 weeks until round 1 of the MX Nationals and I am confident we can make further gains.  I am looking forward to racing again this weekend.  Nothing beats racing” said Webster.

Emma will next race in rounds 3 and 4 of the Australian Off Road Championship – NSW, 14th and 15th of March.

Kyle will race this weekend in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand.
